1960 Porsche 356B Cabriolet

Chassis 153347 was delivered new to Jebson & Co in Hong Kong, finished in ivory with red leather interior this extremely rare Porsche 356B Cabriolet is one of just a handful produced in right-hand drive. Starting its life in Hong Kong the car was acquired by its next owner who was located in Los Angeles who painted the car red, later the car was sold by renowned 356 experts European Collectibles to its 3rd owner Marc Banks a well-respected Australian collector. In 2013 the car was acquired by our client, a private Porsche collector. During his ownership the car has been painted its original colour of ivory, new carpets and cabriolet top have been fitted and the seats have been retrimmed. The car is outstandingly original with the original dash, door cards and chrome work, the car still retains the charm of a lovely and unmodified example which is very unusual to see. Something extremely rare is the factory hardtop which still remains with the car and is unrestored. 

​The car is complete with its history file and its Porsche certificate of authenticity which confirms the car is matching numbers and the hardtop.
